Webstart Practical Web Site Design Course

Webstart Information

We are proud to introduce our first course authored entirely 'in house'.
We often receive enquiries from students of all ages looking for a Paper based web design course. Realising that a course of this type was unavailable, we spent a full year developing our own.

Webstart Features

WEBSTART is designed for anyone wishing to learn a new skill which is interesting, rewarding and could lead to a new career. We show you, clearly and without confusing jargon, how to design and build professional standard Web sites.

WEBSTART is a 'step by step' paper based course consisting of 20 lessons presented in a friendly, conversational way. It will take you from beginner to expert in short achievable steps, so you could be starting a lucrative career as a Web site designer in just a few short months.

WEBSTART is fully tutor supported via email for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase and we are always available for advice on starting your own business or finding employment within the industry.

Distance Learning Diploma.

On successful completion of the course you will be awarded our Distance Learning Diploma.

Further Benefits

WEBSTART course also covers the syllabus requirements of the OCR Internet Technologies Stage 1 qualification and so if you wish to, you can sit this exam at one of the local testing centres (fees payable). It is also an ideal way to prepare for the CIW Associates exam.

Real Practice

WEBSTART students have the opportunity to design a web site for a local business or club, thus gaining valuable experience of dealing with a real customer. Some may want to design a site for their own business; alternatively a hobby or interest would be an ideal basis for this first site.

Assignments

WEBSTART requires ten assignments to be completed, and submitted for 'marking' on completion of the course. These assignments are designed to test your proficiency as you learn each new technique, and they gradually progress in their level of difficulty.

The final assignment requires you to complete a professional standard web site, which must also be published on the Internet. This is a very important step, which will give you the confidence you need to advertise your services as a Professional Web Site Designer.
